Travel – Brown County, Indiana

Our first adventure in our little A framed camper in late October was to Nashville, Indiana located in Brown County. It is noted for it’s beautiful fall colors. We arrived just in time to catch the tail end of the magnificent fall colors this area has to offer. There are two parks well worth driving through and hiking in: Brown County State Park and Yellowwood State Forest.

The town of Nashville is very quaint with an abundance of novelty shops. You can take a ride in a horse drawn carriage or train tram that runs through town.

The leaf sculpture above is called “Soaring” and stands 18 ft. high in the center of town. And, of course, our little dog Bently, really enjoyed keeping a watch on all the activity that this small town had to offer. Would highly recommend a fall visit. Even with the constraints of COVID and the threat of rain, we had a very enjoyable afternoon!

Given this was our fist time traveling in our RV camper, we stayed at a nearby KOA campground. It worked out great. There was a wooded path to walk the dog and the location was just a few minutes from the places we wanted to visit. Would highly recommend it!
